Prayer Requests

Anyone have any specific prayer requests they would like to share? Any Wilhite Prayer Warriors out there? Please post as a comment below. It would be great to be able to track how God answers prayers - I look forward to looking back on the comments in a few months and being encouraged by answered prayers. Let the praises begin...

This is a great idea and I would love to know how I can pray specifically for family members.

I know it is difficult to check this site often as life is so busy (I speak for myself) we just have to get in the habit. We also need to pass this site address along and make sure everyone has it. I have a praise for now. Mom's knee is healing better now (it has been very slow) Both Mom and Dad are encouraged since her dr. visit this week. She can at least get out and go a little now. Please pray God protects from any falls (which could be a big set back). Thanks,
Jenni

Our Sandee and husband Scott left Thursday, March 29th, for China, and plan to return Thursday, April 12. They hope to have the little guy they are adopting on Tuesday (U.S. time), April 3rd. They are naming him Micah Benjamin. He will be two years old on the 20th of this month. Updates on their trip can be obtained at freewebs.com/sbsmwestlund. Pictures can be seen at flickr.com, then westlund3, then on the next page click on "people" even though it may say their info is not available.

A second request is for a long term place for our church to meet. After six years of having a meeting place, the church we leased from sold their building. We have been in a house since the first of March.

This is a great idea! I'm always wondering what's going on with my Wilhite family!

A quick update with us... I'm just finishing my 4th semester of college (finally decided to go back to school), and I'm majoring in Music Education. My hubby and kids are doing well (been married 17 1/2 years, Britney is 13, Tommy is 11). Dan's pastoring in a little church here in West Texas, but we're in the process of maybe relocating about an hour south. We're praying for wisdom and direction right now.

Also, I just got back from a choir trip to China. We were in Hong Kong for 5 days, and Shenzhen for 2. Dan made me promise not to come back with a baby since I'm in school! haha! I fell in love with the country and the people! Who knows, foreign missions might be in our future!

Keep in touch!

Our little Micah Josiah (9 mos old) is going thru different tests for raspy breathing... possibilities run from acid reflux to allergies to cystic fibrosis. Please pray for wisdom, patience, persistence and faith. The deluge of appointments and trips to the pharmacy keep us busy. Thanks for sharing your requests too! This is great.

Ben (son of Dennis, son of Orlan)

Hey, everyone! This is my first time to visit the site. It's great, Keith! Not sure if you all know that Mom (Hilda) is in the health center at Friendship Village. She's had horrible "screaming" pain and finally got to the doctor on Friday and got a new pain prescription. She's planning to get back to her apt. on Tuesday.
Hope to hear from more of you on here!!!

Hi all. Would appreciate everyone's prayers for Dad (and Mom. If you haven't heard. Dad fell from the attic last Wednesday and broke his back. God however was very good to us!! Things could have so much worse...Dad gets upset whenever he thinks about the possbility of mom being under the door when he fell (as the door was shut). He is doing well. Alot of pain though. No surgery right now - trying a back brace first to try and avoid any surgery. He also tore the rotor cup in his shoulder. You know him though he is all ready joking around. Just pray for a speedy recovery and his pain. Pray for mom as she "trys" to care for him when he does come home. Right now still in hospital but looking at putting him somewhere else for a couple of weeks til he can get up and move around better. Thanks - love you all and know you will be praying.
